Hi my names kevin, im desperately searching where i can find "vacuum modulator" location. I cant seem to find it anywhere. Its deffinately not by tranny. My truck is 95 ford ranger xlt auto 2wd rwd. Tranny is 4A4LD, if anyone culd even give a suggestion id b greatly appreciative. If need more info i can tell u. THANKS for ur time.

I don't have personal experience with the a4ld. every trans I've seen the modulator on the passenger side just above the tranny pan. You should be able to follow the vacuum line down to it.

Thank u guys i appreciate it. Im positive its not on tranny at all ive even went thru floor door & didnt c it there. Ill c if i can find some more lines but ive tried following them. I cnt find nothing on google or in Chilton books . Thnks again

You could try going to Ford dealership with your VIN and asking them to pull it up on their parts charts. Usually they have an exploded view of part location.

The vacuum modualtor on the A4LD is about 6 inches from the rear of the trans, passenger side.

I rather suspect that in fact do not have an A4LD, but rather a 4R44/55. 1995 could have had either trans, but the A4LD always had that modulator, the 4R series never did.
