help narrowing D44

Yes. Cut 6" off the passenger side at the inner c/ knuckle. This will require cutting off the weld at the inner knuckle and beating it off of the axle tube, then narrowing the tube, then pressing the knuckle back on in correct orientation then rewelding.

You will need to either have your passenger inned axle shortened the 6" and resplined or get an EB inner on that side. I used dutchman motorsports and mailed mine to them. It was like $80. Moser does it to. I would reccomend getting a chromo shaft instead though, because it is not too much more. I bought a Yukon set of shafts for the f150, then also 1 inner EB shaft and ebayed the extra f150 (passenger inner) shaft. I did this because they were running a package deal on a set w/ superjoints and it was cheaper that way. My stock shafts were toast on the first really hard trail with 34s and a locker. I got away with them on easier stuff, an open diff and 37s though. Like I said, might as well pony up now and get the dependable stuff.
