I'm putting my shortblock together right now '93 4.0 OHV. The Hanes manual calls for .015"-.023" ring gap on the compression rings. My Hastings .020" overbore rings are currently gapped at .016". This is on the tight side for spec and would probably be fine in stock truck but mine will soon have 35" Mud-Terrains along with some small trailer/boat pulling duties which means the engine will be under a higher load = more heat. What would you guys recommend for my ring gaps for natual aspiration.

Now secondly, I'm leaving my options open for a supercharger down the road and would prefere not to regap the rings. What is the recommended ring gap for the M90 supercharger builds that folks are running?

Thank you!!!
