I have a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge 4x4 Ext. Cab Pickup. I am 6'4" tall, and feel like I am sitting about 1" - 2" too high in my truck. My seats are not power anything. Basically, the seat goes forward or backward, and reclines. I want to lower my seat about 2". What is the best course of action for getting this done? I don't want to spend a lotof money, and I am perfectly fine with the 60/40 bench seat. I just need a little more head room, and some room under the steering wheel so that I fit better. Any ideas?

go and get the bracketry off a 99 or older seat. i have the same problem in my 04, but in my brothers 99 i have ho issues with head clearance. if you can go sit in a 95-99 truck and u will see what i mean
