im tryin to do away from trusting the stock oil presser gauge i replaced the sensor about 6 month ago and the gauge seem to work fine untill now.

i dont want to do a mech one cause i dont wanna run a hot oil line into the cab.

any tips i have never done one before

1. Use a "T" fitting to keep the stock sensor with the aftermarket sensor.
2. Don't use teflon tape, use Permatex High Performance Thread Sealant.
3. Get a single gauge door pillar gauge mount.
4. Use a quality gauge such as Autometer.
5. Wire the gauge light into the dimmer switch.

Running hot oil line into the cab aint all that bad unless ur using nylon tubeing. as far as pipe tape vs thread sealant, not really a big diffenerce in my opinion. I personally use pipe tape, and currently am using it on my mechincal sender and the electric stock one. Simply just get a female Tee fitting, i think its a half inch in size. put some form of pipe sealant on there, tape or whatever and run ur wires.
