Help identifying these intake gaskets

Hey guys, having a rough/hanging idle issue (codes P1151 and P0155) in my 99 b4000 4x4 w/ 135k miles. It's the 4.0 OHV engine. I replaced the upper intake gaskets but problem persists, I just got a full intake gasket set, plan on swapping everything, with new vacuum hoses to boot. I just have a few questions about the gaskets in the kit. I've attached a picture of my set withe the gaskets numbered. I believe they are:

1: Lower intake Gaskets
2: ???
3: Valve cover gaskets
4: Upper intake gaskets
5: ???
6: ???
7: IAC gasket
8: Injector o-rings??
9: ???
10: ???
11: ???

If someone could help my identify these, that would be great. I'm planning on doing the swap on monday and want to be totally sure of where everything goes. Also, I know there is a part of the lower intake gasket where some RTV needs to be used (I think around the coolant passageways?) any additional info on that would be great. Thanks a bunch guys!

I assume the #2 upper intake gasket goes under the #4 intake seals, between the upper and lower intake? When I replaced the #4 seals (about a year ago), there wasn't one there, and I didn't add one. Maybe that is what's causing my issue. Luckily no EGR system on the truck, so don't have to deal with that.

After engine is fully warmed up, 10 min drive, leave it idling and open the hood

Unplug the 2 wires on the IAC valve, it will close.
RPMs should drop to 500, or engine may even stall, either is GOOD, it means no vacuum leaks

If RPMs stay high then check "anti-diesel" screw on throttle linkage, leaving IAC Valve unplugged.
Anti-diesel screw looks like an idle screw but fuel injection can't use an idle screw, lol, no Jets.
Previous owner may have adjusted this screw, turn it counter clockwise to see if RPMs start to drop, if not then turn if back to where it was.
If RPMs do start to drop then keep turning until RPMs get down to 500, engine almost stalling, so no vacuum leaks.

With IAC Valve unplug and idle above 700 you can then test for hose leaks by unplugging one hose at a time and plugging port with your finger, when idle drops you found the leaking hose or device at the other end of that hose
 
1) Two piece LIM gasket

2) Fuel rail gaskets - these go between the fuel rail and the lower intake manifold. If you have a plastic spacer like later OHVs you need two to sandwich around it otherwise you just need one. If you don't split the fuel rail from the intake manifold you don't need to use either one.

3) Valve cover gaskets

4) Upper intake to fuel rail gaskets

5) No idea on the small O-ring. Big one is the old school throttle body.

6) EGR gasket - between the EGR valve and the EGR tube to the upper intake

7) No idea, but probably old school IAC like you say

8) Injector o-rings. You should have 12 instead of 8. There is one for the input and one for the output for all 6 injectors. You only need these if you split off the fuel rail (see #2)

9) IAC gasket - this is the one I use, for later OHVs

10) Throttle body gasket - again, for later OHVs

11) No idea on the little one. Big one is maybe the EGR tube o-ring? - goes on the EGR tube before you shove it into the upper intake. Later OHVs are big and green so not sure about this black one.

With the two piece lower intake gasket, you'll need to put RTV at the front and back of the lifter valley on the "China Wall"s. Do a test fit and see how high the RTV needs to be.

Sorry to interrupt Sam’s thread, but I could really use some info on this subject. Recently, I changed the fuel injectors on the ’92 Ranger (4.0) that I just bought. I went down to the parts store to get the gasket(s) for putting the fuel rail back in, but they were out of stock. So the guy opened a service kit that had a lot of the gaskets shown above and just sold me the #2 gaskets. If I remember correctly (and I may not, as it was cold & late when I did the job - plus, I was a few beers in), I used both of them; one between the upper air plenum and the fuel rail, the other between the fuel rail and the top of the intake manifold below it. Would this have been correct?

While I was still at the parts store, the guy also picked up the #4 gaskets above, looked a little unsure, then tossed them to me saying, “Here. You’ll probably need these.” While I had things torn down under the hood, I didn’t see any old versions of these rubber seals and couldn’t figure out where it would even make sense for them to go. So I kind of assumed they might go somewhere below the level I took things down to (that is, removing the fuel rail), but it seems like it would get kinda hot down there for rubber seals. Can anyone verify? My Haynes manual has nothing on this. Thanks so much!
