Hello, so I have a 99 ford ranger 3.0 4wd manual, me and a friend are going to rebuild the front axle and get my 4wd working I need to order bearings and seals. However am unsure of what ring gear and type of axle I have up front. I know I have an f6 rear axle code so I have a limited slip 7.5" 3.73 rear axle; but I cant find a bom(build.of.material) number or a sticker on the front axle it does have some engraved markings though I've included some pictures of the stamps on the passenger side axle shaft housing and the area where the driveshaft attaches to the front axle. Any help or information Would be appreciated.

none of those pictures show anything important.
there should be a 5 or 6 digit number on the tube starting with 4 (??)
I've had good luck using year-make-model for the front axle bearings & seals.
the drivers side bearing is the same as the rear axle bearing.

the 5 digit # is stamped on a small raised pad. that's the Dana # for what it is.

Super 30 is 10 bolts

35 rr is 12 iirc

these have 8 ring gear bolts, dia is somewhere around 7.6.
they are NOT a standard, or reverse, Dana 35

Diff cover. Hard to see the diff cover let alone inside it

rr is regular rotation

So what is the acronym for reverse rotation?.....

Rr

There is no reverse ifs/sla.

Don't need to be as it is tucked up.

The high pinion ttb d35 has 10 bolts.

Irony...d28 ttb had 12
