ive had a hard time following this thread i cant really tell exactly what has and hasnt been done.

if you jump those 2 terminals (the 2 biggest on that plug for the relay) do you get power to the computer?

do you get power at one of the smaller terminals with the key on?

well ive did everything but rewire the engine so i think its goin down the road...

Have you tried putting a good ground wire to the ECM case, it fixed one I worked on. I have a good rebuilt ECM that I use for testing to see if it's the ECM it's self.

One other thing, I didn't see anyone mention the inertia switch that's mounted under the dash on the passenger side, those things will go bad at the drop of a hat, just unplug it, put a jumper wire on it, and see what happens.

yea i mentioned it but i think a mod deleted it that and the netraul saftey switch is no longer in the truck to get rid of that possablity

I noticed that you havent tested the battery yet......

I understand that it is new!!!!!! I have gotten a bad new battery....
CHECK YOUR TERMINALS!!! I clean mine untill they shine.
Then move on to every fuse in the primany (under the hood) Fuse box.
Then Disconnect and clean then reconnect EVERY SINGLE CONNECTOR UNDER THE HOOD

Wait a minute..... does 88 have a Fuel Inerita Switch....... I'll be back in a sec...

Update:Yes they do.... Wow... thats what happens when you don't read the last two posts........
