HELP!!guys I need to get this done today

hey guys got my ranger with 257000km . its a 2008 2.3 manual trans.i just did a trans fluid change and put in mobil super ATF multi vehicle.its says its for vehicles requiring mercon v . as my owner manual said to put in mercon v.did i put the right stuff in? or should i drain it and get the motocraft mercon V from ford??? thanks

also should i change the diff oil and power steering too. thanks again

Read the bottle and see if the fluid you put in is comparable to Mercon V. If not, drain it and redo it with the correct fluid

the bottle does say it works for vehicle reqiuring mercon v but im wondering if the motocraft mercon v would be better . it seems to shift fine but i think it could be better ,i also dont know when or if the clutch has been replaced.should i check clutch fliud level ?

The fluid is fine. don't worry about the clutch until it starts to slip. You should check the fluid level, although its not going to give you any indication of the wear on the clutch.

Wow, 257000km on a 2008? What is the truck used for, UPS delivery? I'm surprised it still shifts at all. Just goes to show what good maintenance can do eh. Just me, but I'd stick with whatever has been being used in the past.

257000km isnt really that much. I mean, for the year it is. But overall it isn't that much.
