help asap!!!

my '98 model has been around fer a min an is reachin 200000 miles in a few weeks ive only had the truck fer bout the last 10000 miles so i dont know much bout how it was before but as of bout 20 min ago i was pullin out the driveway an it felt like my back tires were bein held back an when i turned the wheel completely left or right the tires would act like i was holding the brakes, the truck would completely stop an when i gave it gas to move it would act like the wheel was locked so i jacked the back of the truck up an spinned the tires round so i know the rearend aint locked. now the truck is bone stock but its actin like i have a locker in the back cuz its like draggin the tires when i give it gas at full turn in reverse or full turn. if someone has any suggestions let me kno i tried explainin what it was but if u have any questions that might help u help me just ask.... thanks scott

Take it out of 4hi, & don't use 4hi or 4low on dry pavement.

If it's a 2wd, you've got other issues.

Have a fellow Marine drive your truck like you described while you walk beside it.

Gotta be making some kind of noise if it's dragging enough to bring the truck to a stop.

yea yall were right my buddy (fellow marine) drove the truck last an apparently hit the nob on the 4wd lol gotta love the electric 4wd systems..not thanx anyway yall
