I am looking to put a 94 ford Aerostar 3.0l v6 rwd w/transmission into my 1999 ford ranger which also had a 3.0l v6 flex fuel in it, will the motor and trans be compatible with the truck without any fab work or swapping of many parts?

Basically, the block, bottom end, heads, and lower intake are the same. Be ready to switch things like the oil pan or exhaust manifolds, but they may not be needed. You'll have to keep your upper intake manifold/throttle body, fuel injectors and PCM, as well as all of the sensors and wiring harness from your 99. If the 94 engine has a distributor, you'll have to switch that out with the cam synchro on the newer engine (or better yet, a brand new motorcraft replacement).
