hello, I have a question. About a year ago i replaced my 2001 rangers AC compressor, orifice tube, O rings and condenser. Charged it up and it has worked fine. Today after work as I turned the engine off at home I heard a BOOM. I thought it was a radiator hose. NO it was the top line to the AC. Freon everywhere. I thought maybe the orifice tube was stopped up so changed that put on all new O rings recharged the system and it was working fine. Turned off the engine and BOOM same line comes off again. ANY ideas what is causing this?

Pictures of the blown line would be helpful.

The system should have a blow off valve... is that there. Typically on the rear of compressor... high side.

So many other questions... but let's see the picture first.

Welcome to the site. I was thinking high side as well. You may need to replace the line or rebuild the clamp the hose went into.
