I'm new to the forum but not to Fords. I currently do not own an RBV but would love to acquire one upon my return to the states. Looking to replace my 98 Wrangler with a Ranger preferably as old as possible and still be nice. plans are to swap in the drive train from my 78 as budget/time allow. Nothing wild just want a good solid smaller truck. Other consideration is a Bronco II. Would love to do a ranger cab swap on one.

Welcome! Sounds like you've got some great plans. I've seen a few of those cab swaps done...it's pretty cool

I've been smitten by the cab swap since 1988 when I saw a BII that someone had put a ranger cab top and rear of the bed onto. It was done so seamlessly it looked factory. It was a dream back then but age and a college education has put it in reach. Wish me luck!
