Hey everyone i have recently become the owner of a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT. It is driving great no problems. I need to flush my radiator though cause i went to put washer fluid on it and noticed that i have mud for coolant. Any tips on the easiest ways to do this it has the 4.0 l OHV motor in it.

Pull the lower radiator hose and let it run out with the radiator cap off. I then just run a hose through the radiator and top hose until it starts coming out clean. You may need something like a flush kit or somehting to get more pressure to get out anything that may be plugged up.

Thanks Original_ranger84 for the good advice. I figure i should probably get it taken care of before it starts warming up in my area.
