My credo
Do your best to be your best.
I have a 1991 2.3L Ranger that I have worked to make showroom new. It has been a slow 11 year process. Some days I think I am losing ground, but it's enjoyable. I'm hoping I can get some help from people more knowledgeable than me. I'm 72 years old living in the woods with my wife, two dogs and six chickens.

It's getting hard to find parts as y'all know. The only thing I trust in the instrument cluster is the speedo. Forget trying to buy a new one, and I don't trust the old ones I've seen online. Recently: I couldn't find the tube that holds the oil dipstick. It broke off. We had to weld it back on. I'm in slow motion, about to get LineX on the bed and rails, a rubber bed mat, and a tonneau cover. I hope to have that completed in another month. Just finished repairing major rust on the roof along both drip rails and repainting the roof. Other projects completed and more in mind......like everyone else it is a labor of love. This truck is a simple project compared to the majority of the ones I see on this website. Lots of talented people hanging out here. Thanks for the compliments.
