I purchased a 04 Ranger Edge yesterday. It's been years since I've owned a Ford, but I needed a Yard truck and this one fit the bill.

It's pretty much bare bones, SBRC, manual 3.0 with AC, aluminum wheels and premium stereo.
93K miles.

I've joined auto forums in the past and found them to be a good place to meet fellow owners and gain valuable information about my vehicles, so here I am:popcorn: :icon_thumby:

The Edge was a nice package. I remember driving one or two back in the day. The 3.0 was just a darn good motor, too. Ford also used them in the Taurus for a long time. I've seen the 3.0 go 300,000+ without a problem. I don't know how many miles are on yours, but I know from personal experience that 100-150k and they're just getting broke in. Typical pushrod, cast iron architecture.:icon_thumby:
They will tow, but not a lot. Especially with your 5-speed, I wouldn't try to do much more than 2-3000 lbs. I had a 95 Ranger with the 3.0/automatic; and it was a great highway truck! Don't know what gears were in it though.
