hello everyone,
I recently bought a 2004 4-door 4x4 Ranger side step, in really good shape except for a hickup / dying while driving problem, which I fixed with a new air cleaner and gas line antifreeze. I am looking to toss stories around and learn more about what can be done with a Ranger, and what you need to do, to keep everything running smoothly.
I also have my Ham Amateur Radio Basic licence, and will be putting a 2m rig in the truck with a mag mount NMO antenna.
I live in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, and yes it gets cold up here. I am running Nokian R2-SUV winter tires, (don't quote me on spelling), and so far they run really well, and stop really well. I would recommend them for really snowy conditions where there is also some pavement.
It is kind of you to let me join the forum.
