Hello everyone, my name is Mike and I have a 1997 Ford Ranger. I purchased this truck from my old boss who had the truck since it was brand new. He wanted to sell it to me for $350, I actually thought that was a good price for a running truck. I told him I only wanted to pay $150 and that I would have to make payments, he said ok and I gave him $50 every paycheck. The truck has 135,000 miles and does not burn or leak a drop of oil. I have been driving the truck for 3 years and just this week the water pump went out. This is the first money I have spent on it so far. As I got to replacing the pump I decided to replace upper and lower radiator hoses, serpentine belt, plugs, wires and oil. The carrier bearing has been squeeking for a year now so I replaced that along with the U-joints. The body has rot over the rear fender well and at the bottom of the tailgate, I will fix that soon. I need a rear drivers side window since I accidentally threw a shovel threw it last winter (I have never owned a pickup truck). Im now wishing I didnt put the extra dents and scratches in the body thinking it was just a work truck because now I feel like restoring it
