Brand new on here. Not sure how it all works posting threads. But I have many questions and maybe some answers.
I have 2009 Ranger Sport 4x4. Its a good truck not lots of trouble just maintenence stuff. I mistakening changed the fuel pump, its was a fuel filter problem. Duh. Now It doesnt start on the first turn after running then sitting for about 15 minutes. It will cold and after just 5 minutes of sitting. I broke a tube connector on old pump removing it. I repaired it. Is it a good chance putting it back in will fix my issue? Im asking because it's such a pain too switch out .Sorry if Im in the wrong place for a question.

Welcome to TRS.

Don't worry about the first post. If it's in the wrong place , a mod will move it and let you know.
If, however, you do it again, several large men in masks will show up at your house.

Putting the old pump back in - if it was working - seems like a logical thing to do.

Youre probably losing fuel pressure when it sits through whatever you fixed.

Lol. Thanks for that. I'll put it back in when I don't need my truck for most of the day. I'm dropping the tank because of my sprayed on bedliner. I don't want to disturb the bolts.
