Thought I would jump on the forum and say hello. My name is Kell, and I'm US Army stationed in Germany. currently I'm now deployed in Bagdad, Iraq for my second run in the sandbox. I own a 2008 ranger FX4 that I bought after my last deployment. I love my tuck and I miss it so ****ing much.

I got the truck *used* from an army dealership. A LTC bought the truck online and had it for about a month. Got everything you could want on the ranger. Leather seats, rubber floor, 4.0 , 5 speed. And heres the kicker. I paid 15k for it.....with 996 miles. Apparently he didn’t like driving a truck in Germany. I DO NOT mind it one bit. Even though it’s a small truck EVERYONE moves out of your way in Germany. And when we get 6 inches of snow. Im still moving. And German girls go WILD when they know you have a truck. They just love it. And one thing im quite surprised of, its much faster than I expected. I've raced BMW 3's.....ghosted....BMW X3 laughable.... and all sorts of opels, WVs and a midrid of others.

When I get back im planning on 1, a lift, 2 the x charger. ( what's the price tag on that? And where can I find one) and after some research and talking to you guys who know what your talking about. Maybe a few others.

And one more thing.......is it sad that I miss my truck more than I miss my woman?

Funny how chicks dig trucks no matter where you are!
Cant help you on the new stuff..............I'm sure someone that can will chime in.
Where are you from in the states?

pell city AL, but i havent been there in years. Going from Germany, Italy, Ireland and visiting so many in between in my free time. And then sadly Iraq 2 times more than I wanted to come here. But hey.... we are turning off the lights when we leave this place.... I just don’t wanna go to afgan

Welcome to the site brother! I was deployed twice to the box as well while i served in the MC. The ranger sounds sweet, so post up some pics of this thing! Keep your head down over there. As far as your SC, your looking around 4 grand for the whole setup. I am almost positive Keene Bell makes the kit for the 4.0 SOHC (the motor in your truck) and the lift, its all according on what you want. You can get a 2" body lift for less than 200 bucks, or you can do a complete 4 link setup and coilovers for around 8 grand
