I have not been on for a long time and never introduced myself.

I am a student going into my senior year in High school.
With summer vacation I am able to be more social here on the ranger station.

I found my 1991 Ford Ranger for $650.
No powersteering, does not come equiped with AC. Odometer showed 450,000 miles but I later found out it does not work. The engine and transmission are doing GREAT and just passed inspection. It honestly runs really well for its age.

Needed a paint job that my brother and I did from paint from oreillys. Not a fan of the BRIGHT red but since it was originally red I decided to go with it. so I added a black pinstrip and black wheels and it looks better.

Here are the tires and wheels that did not match before. I bought the jeep wheels and tires it currently has for $80 and sold the ones on this pic for $130 :) looked like they belonged on a Sedan.

Now that I have a job I am able to save up much more so I am saving for a newer truck with some AC.

So far I love my 2.3L even though it lacks in power, but the reliablity with the 5 speed man trans makes up for it.
By the way this is the truck I learned to drive a stick.:icon_bounceblue:

Welcome friend! Fell free to grab a cold drink (:icon_pepsi: ONLY since you're underage), pull up a chair and watch for low-flying BS!

I agree that the Ranger 4-bangers are underpowered, but they are stout little beasties. They really aren't bad if backed by the equally indestrucable M5OD-R1 5-speed stick.

Welcome to TRS bro!

Welcome to TRS bro!

Thanks Hopman.

I will revenge myself with power when I get a SVT Cobra :headbang:
