New to the forum. Have a 87 ranger 2.9 that I've done a little too, mainly refabbed the front end and cut the fenders to fit bigger tires. Thing goes pretty much wherever I want it to. Looking for some tech tips since the tranny just went out and planning on fitting some half ton axles and springs under it.

Anyone know of any quick and easy (cheap if possible) upgrades for transmissions and transfer cases in the 87 ranger (mazda transmission)?
