Hello, I have 3 Ford Trucks, 1984 ranger 4X4 with 2.8 automatic, 1987 F150 with 5.0 automatic and a 1997 Ranger standard cab with a 3.0 and 5 speed.
I have been a mechanic since my teens. Have made several modifications to my 97 ranger. Changed instrument cluster from one with idiot lights to one with all gauges and a tachometer. Change steering column to one with tilt and cruise. Swapped out entire under hood harness with cruise actuator to install factory cruise. The cruise system works great. Everything is plug and play, no splicing or soldering. Column from a 1996 explorer along with the instrument cluster. The engine bay harness and cruise actuator are from a 1996 ranger. Installed a CD player from 1997 explorer. Want to change rear differential, just not sure what ratio I want and how to get the proper GEM module for it.
