It's been a while since I've been on TRS.
I just got done doing the rear shackles on my Ranger this weekend.
This was the second set in 13 years. The first time I did the front as well.

So the ole 94 is still a daily driver. One more year and she's a classic.:yahoo:

what...25 years in maine...lucky you. what bennies do you get with a "classic" in your area?

Maybe I was wrong. It might be 25 years.
I don't think there's any bennies. I haven't had to got through emissions for a while when getting it inspected.I think that's 10 or 15 years old and no more emissions.

I wire brushed and painted the frame while I was underneath the truck.
The weather/salt really takes a toll on the frame and body of vehicles in this area of the country.

**** United States legal definition
Legally, most states have time-based rules for the definition of "classic" for purposes such as antique vehicle registration; for example, Most states define it as "A motor vehicle, but not a reproduction thereof, manufactured at least 20 years prior to the current year which has been maintained in or restored to a condition which is substantially in conformity with manufacturer specifications and appearance."
