hello everyone this is my first post. i have a 99 ranger supercab 3.0l 5 speed, 2wd. I'm planning on putting a 5.0l 5speed from an 88 mustang cobra into it. Im looking for any advice on this particular year of ranger and year of the stang powertrain. lets start with the motor mounts? mustang convertible mounts reversed or explorer v-8 mounts? i hear with explorer mounts the motor will drop right in?

i used the advaned adpater plales with stock mustang mounts is perfect ..and the stang oil pan w/ pick up tube ...no problems at all ...

Adapter plates available are for '97 and older ibeam trucks.
