Hello, I have been a long time user of the information on this site and it has helped me tremendously. I don't post on forums very much or at all because my questions are usually answered somewhere out there. I want to apologize if this is not posted in the correct place, but I am about to lose what is left of my mind. Here it goes...
I am doing a 5.0 swap in my 1991 explorer 4dr. I am good with everything except for the wiring. I do not have my 5.0 wiring harness yet, but that will come out of a late 80s or early 90s mustang, tbird, etc, as long as it is mass air. What I am looking for are the connections to all of the gauges and powering the new computer. I have studied what wiring diagrams I can find, but they do not tell me what connectors house which wires. I have looked everywhere and all I can find are comments about how to "just wire it up and fire it up" or "there are only like 8 or 9 splices that need to be made". This is all fine and well, but WHERE TO I MAKE THE SPLICES! I have the 4.0 engine and engine bay harness out already so I can easily trace connectors. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated as would pictures.
Thank you for your help!
