Was wondering how to put a picture in my profile. And help would be appreciated

Just go to your profile and you can edit it.

Add a photo by editing your avatar.

But... I know there were some limits recently added to prevent spam messages from being sent through private messages from new users. Don't think it affected profile picture.

I can confirm it works without being a supporting member.

I also can't add an avatar. Under profile there is no option to add or edit a picture, for me.

I'm not sure but I might be able to help you add a picture to your profile.

In the thread we are talking in click on your own name.
Then you should see what looks like a drawing of an upper torso and a head, inside that it should say edit. Click on that edit. You should be able to add a picture from there.

For me on PC, from this thread, I left click on my name in the upper left of the web page. Then I select account details.

From this page I can edit my avatar right on that page. All I have to do is click on my picture, yours would be a white and grey silhouette, and all the options appear.

ALSO:

Left clicking my name in the upper right corner then left clicking on my picture lets me change it.


Hope this gets you to where you need to be or then there is a reason for not seeing it, being a site setting. Give it a day or two and see if it lets you? But that is just a guess.

Android:

just press your avatar and then press on your avatar picture and it brings up the edit menu.

Thanks. I'll give it a day or two. I just created an account today. Right now clicking on the avatar image doesn't bring up anything on mobile or Windows.
