Got this ranger a couple weeks ago and have been driving it around. last night i was driving it kind of hard and all of my buddies parked, went to go take back off and nothing... the seat belt light will come on and when you turn the key it dims. I have tried two different solenoids and just bought a starter and put it in still nothing. put a battery that i know is charged in it as well. it will make noise and just wont turn over.. it is a 83 ranger 2.8 5 speed and it will start right up being pull started

Did you test the battery? If the CCA isn't where it needs to be, charging won't help.

Since the lights are dimming, the starter is getting something. If the battery tests out OK, I'd be checking connections (this includes the block grounds!). A good test is to, when cranking (or trying to), measure the voltage between the positive battery terminal and the starter's power feed (big cable), and between the case of the starter (or the engine block) and the negative terminal. If it's more than a volt the connections between the test locations are suspect, it should be pretty low (as the only place you should be dropping significant voltage is the starter itself).
