[Ranger Sport Honduras]

i got factory 4.10s and it can still break the tires loose on the road. and she tops out at 90. i wouldnt get any bigger tires though

mine has less power and does the same.
4.10 seems like the best choice for 31s on a 4 cyl.
enough power to make em spin and still has good top speed.
mine used to hit 100, but now it wont go past 90 with the current gears and tires.

thanks. im planning on 3 lights on the bumper. i dont plan on a rollbar on my truck though, maybe a bedcage later on.

yeah i have haha. im planning on getting cragar soft 8s when i get my new tires in a couple months

I would love to have 4.10's. Mine are 3.73. Although, according to the calculator in the tech library, our actual ratio's are pretty close, mine are just a little taller. I have to slip the clutch a lot to spin on dry pavement. Your truck will look good with soft 8's, that's what I have. What kind of tires are you getting? I have yokohama street tires, which are great tires, but I'm going with BFG KM2's next

as for an update. im putting an 02 ranger xlt front clip and fiberglass fenders and a fabtech prerunner tire carrier... and i jus painted my front bumper black

oh and i havent yet installed the suspencion parts yet. im waiting till i get a lil more money for new coils so i can do it all at one time and then get an alignment

eh i like the ranger front end better. but i like the mazda bed better. so im gettin the best of both worlds with this truck lol she is my baby and i love her.

im gunna sell the mazda clip for 80 if you know anyone that wants it (fenders too)

only thing is that the mazda only has the corner turn signals but the ranger has corner blinkers and and a set of turn signals in the headlights, so im only gunna use the ones in the headlights and paint the corners black

oh and my truck is gunna be one of the most unique in the whole county where i live (already is cause theres only like 3 or 4 other mazdas in the imperial valley) oh and the duratec supercabs are also very rare too

well i got and installed my in bed "prerunner" tire carrier (i got it from here)

and i painted the ranger corners

and i got my brand new header panel in the mail yesterday

i installed my fiber glass!!! here of some pics of the install and how the ranger (mazda) looks now

here it is with the grille, header panel and lights off

with the fender off

on the other side it had a vacuum ball thingy mounted on the plastic fender well that i had to remount in a differnt location (by all the fluid resiovers)

then i got one sides fiberglass installed

then the other side and the header panel and one headlight

and then the final product...

and im getting my new rims and tires to match on tuesday (2/28/12)
