It is deffinitly winter now up here in northern michigan and ive been using my heat quite abit...but lately even after my truck has been running for say 20 min with heat on it will go from warm to blowing cold...i think it might be a thermostat problem? any body have any suggestions?
Thank you
Nick

That is where I would start. Are you doing anything special when it goes to cold or just all of a sudden does it?

If your blower is blowing, but you are getting cold air, then you aren't getting hot water to you heater core. I would suggest checking your heater core and hoses for obstructions -- sometimes corrosion can plug 'em up.

If your '94 Exploder is like my '94 Ranger, the core is a simple swap and Autozone has 'em for $25.

alright thanks Donnie....yea its just all of a sudden, have it on defrost and heat and blows cold intermittenly....thanks for the advice guys , much appreciated!
