Hey guys, i got a 90 ranger that had the 2.9 in it, i got a 302 in it right now and was wondering how i could keep my heater working, i heard that you can just notch the heater box and it will fit, but i was thinking that that would make for some really tight clearence room, so i was wondering if i could see some pics of your heater box especially if you made on from scratch. also does the part where that little radiator thing that was in the box, can that be cut off and allow me to just use the circular part that just held the heater fan?

If you are good you can cut the corner out and mold it back in, inside out. I used fiberglass and remolded the corner of the box for mine. I've seen pop rivited sheet metal, just about anything really.
