Hello all, this morning was the first time I needed to use the heater in a few months which usually works great and the truck would warm up in about 5 minutes, however traveling about 15 minutes to work this morning with the truck warmed up only cold air blew out. At about 12 minutes in I decided to gun it from stop to 50 and it blew hot air for about 1 minute before it got cold again. Any ideas? The other issue is that the center vents blow air very well but the driver and passenger side has minimal air flow. Thanks

I just got home, when I posted the thread I didn't get a chance to look at my coolant level before work and as soon as I got off I popped the hood and sure enough low. I stopped and got some coolant filled it up and now it blows hot air like a champ but I'm not sure why it's empty though it was full 3k miles ago, I will watch it for a few days-weeks here and make sure that there is not a leak somewhere. Now I just need to figure out why the side vents aren't blowing very good air.

The vents on newer models are controled by vacuum. Would check and make sure you don't hane a line that has come loose under your dash that is not letting the vents open all the way up.
