Hey all, just wondering if you guys could help me out with diagnosing a leak I am having some trouble with. I have what seems to be a coolant leak coming from right under the plastic box that the A/C Evaporator sits where the A/C condensation usually drips out, only with 10x more volume. I say what seems like a coolant leak because my truck is running water atm instead of traditional coolant so I am not sure if theres something causing excessive condensation to drip or if maybe the heater core is leaking and somehow making its way into that area? the dripping speeds up with the speed of the hvac motor but even turned off completely it still drips pretty aggressively. I am stumped here because from what I have read a leaking heater core would most likely leak into the passenger side of the cab, and I am 100% sure its not a hose from above in the engine bay. if anyone has any ideas or has seen something similar id love to hear some suggestions. I have inserted a pic of the leak.
Heater Core Leak?

Take off the hoses to the heater core, plug them and run it again. That will tell you for sure.

I had a similar issue. Since it's summer I just looped my hoses together to bypass the heater core so I can put off fixing it until fall.

If you don't already know it's a huge project to replace the heater core as you'll need to disconnect and remove the entire dash, which I've done before on a different truck.

Also when you replace your heater core, while you have everything out, I'd go ahead and replace the Blend Door and the Blower Resistor.

I wouldn't plug them. I'd loop them.
