Warning, it's hot out.

Sometimes it's hotter in. I made four trips up to the attic, less than 10 minutes total. Now I don't feel so good.

Stay cool.

and stay hydrated, if your sweating and or pissing, you should be drinking WATER, not Mountain Dew and Sweet tea.

I am on my second large glass since finishing that job, not to mention drinking as much as I could as fast as I could from the sink every time I came down.

I'm getting 102 - 104 temperatures on my front porch! I did take my truck out and test the air conditioning today, it works!

I was at the race track Saturday and it was brutal, alot of drivers flat out gave up in mid race because of heat exhaustion. :icon_surprised:

Saturday was terrible here. Not so hot but very heavy and dead calm.

Low 90's this week, not bad if you have a breeze and shade.

So for those of you that know about demand and Supply with the electric companies, they do a thing called On Demand response. well I received an email that there was one today and of course I forgot about it, my housemate got home we were sitting here and I said: "do you think is getting warm here in the house???". Sure enough my central air was off and so insult upon injury, A truck that took weeks and weeks to fix, now the AC in the house is off on overload, Well it took a few hours but it did did restart! The house temperature shot from 76 to 85 in less than 2 hours,. It's down to 80 been running about an hour, WHEW!!!

PECO I don't know if I hate you more than Comcast or not but I'm getting too old for this kind of excitement!

yep, it's so hot that even my laziness has to slow down.

this weekend I bought a Ranger from a guy that did a couple tours in Desert Storm and Iraq. he didn't seem to mind the heat, I stopped complaining. :icon_thumby:

Temps have been hitting around 110 on the heat index. The humidity has been 90-100% everyday. All you have to do is walk outside and you start pouring sweat.

Tallahassee has hovered in the high 90's for the past few days, but it's the humidity, also in the high 90's, and when it rains, steam rises off the asphalt and concrete.

It's not that hot out. I grew up working on a farm. you want hot? go to the inside top of a metal barn stacking hay where its 120 degrees and no air flow for a few hours. I'm big and hairy so I sweat profusely all the time so I learned to just deal with it. That's what I have to say all the time to my kids, my techs, my co workers.... "JUST DEAL WITH IT" lol

In high school I trimmed Christmas trees about this time of year.

100*+ out in the sun, dragging around a weedeater with big a steel blade trimming trees like maybe 8' tall at the max, pine tree needles sticking and getting everywhere.

Planting was easy, trimming sucked, selling was fun because we got to play 4 wheelers in snow. Pay was good. :icon_thumby:

And dad does big round bales.

I now work inside for the4 state, but until last year I built and installed awnings. Talk about hot, the heat would bounce of the wall and hit us in the face. No mercy. And by the time the fabric go on and there is shade, time to go to the next job. Oh, and if it was black fabric on a metal frame, temps were easily magnified. Don't miss that shyt at all

It's only 108 in Vegas today! Supposed to be a little cooler tomorrow like 101 but get in to the 110 plus this weekend. Definitely not going to get anything done on the B2 any time soon.

102 in the shade here today...
