Just a couple of months ago I swapped my old 4 cylinder for a 3.0l .Everything went smoothly except for my dash lighting. Whenever I turn the headlights on, all dash and HVAC lights go out. My radio stays on. For some reason as well when I turn on my headlights my dash lights up the high beam indicator and it lights up my turn signals to a solid green. Wierdly enough whenever I turn the fan speed to high on my HVAC it turn the dash lights on but when I turn on the headlights they shut off. And before anyone says check my dimmer switch, It's not the problem because I literally have cranked that sucker over 9000. When I was doing my 3.0l swap I had to swap the Dashboard harness as well. The 3.0l and all of the wiring is out of a 93 ranger. I have been stressing over this for the longest time and I would love somebody's help on this because I'm clueless.
