On my 1989 Ranger when I pull the headlights on, the taillights and dash lights dont come on. I can push the headlight switch in between headlights on and parklight position everything works properly. I have replaced headlight switch, and the plug going to headlight switch. I was told it was a bad ground and I have check all the grounds I could find. Has anyone experienced this problem ?

check your fuses (dont just assume they are fine).

if the headlight circuit fuse is blown, the headlights will still work with the switch halfway between park and headlight mode.

david did you ever get this issue worked out?? i have a 1990 ranger that does the same thing. any info you have will sure help! thanks

Eric
