Heading out to Colorado next week!!

I will be driving to Denver Colorado area August 12th and staying for 4 or 5 days, havnt decided yet.

Im staying with a couple friends I know out there. If anyone is going on a trail ride and has some room Ide love to go! The mountains are my thing.... but I live in Illinois... So ide love to get up in them the real way!

There will be some! Might be taking an open air jeep off road tour over a mountain pass. Thatll make for some good shots

I know there are quite a few good passes around the Breckenridge area if you ever venture out that way. Look at my thread a few under this one. Its from when I was around Breckenridge and a couple of the passes we went on.

I definitely have to get into the mountains. I have a brand new fly fishin rod I need to try out.

I didnt even think about that! Will my Illinois license work in CO? Ill probably have to buy a $15 one day pass or some crap.

i'd say no. and fines can be pretty hefty when trout fishing. you can be fined for being out there and for the type of lure you're using.

i got a 3 day pass when i went down to georgia back in july. $12 for 3 days. did it over the interwebz and printed it out at work. $12 is a lot better than a $300 fine. of course, no park rangers stopped us this time.
