1) JBA, makes a very nice set of tripple nickle plated headers.
2) Pacesetter, makes a decent set of headers.
3) Several other manufacturers make header for the 4.0 liter and later models of the 2.9 exhaust system that will work with your engine but will require you to have a single in cat vs. the dual in cat that you have. The reason for this is the 86-87 have a dual outlet "Y" pipe, 88 and newer had the single out "Y" pipe.
3)a) Here is a near free solution for that: use your dual in single out cat backwards, making it a single in, dual out. That does creat 2 new potential decission/problems. They will need a dual in muffler or 2 single in muffler. Either way that is can be done very inexpensively.
There are MANY header manufacturer's for the 4.0 liter (Borla, Doug Thorley, Edlebrock TES, Gibson, Headman to name a few) same exhaust manifold layout, same gaskets, just a different "Y" pipe configuration (as addressed above).
