Hi guys, are there any long tubes that fit a 4.0 sohc Ranger????

Im no big expert but I have heard of some folks making 4.0 mustang headers headers work.

No. AFAIK the only headers are shortys made by JBA and cost a crap-ton of money. Also they don't make much difference because the stock manifolds are already pretty good. The guy who runs the Sport Trac group and the Zabteck parts website got a set a few years ago and dyno'd his truck before and after and found a difference of exactly 1 horsepower. Also long-tube headers mean you will have to whack the Y-pipe cats which probably isn't legal.

I guess I'll stick with what I got. Thanks guys.

Yeah I put a set of shorties on the 03 FX4 that I had back then, and ran dyno before and after. It had a smoother torque curve with the factory manifolds, and the same peak torque and power. Save your money for something that actually helps you.
