I'm having a problem finding the correct headers for my 93 Ranger with the 4.0 motor. Every one I have found has the same problem. The heat riser tube connection is on the drivers side but needs to be on the passengers side. The one that looked to be the best quality was headman headers part # 89400. Any one else come across this problem?

I just recently bought a set of pacesetter headers for my 94 with the 4.0. The "heat riser" connection you are are talking about should be the connection for the EGR tube. And if I'm correct, it actually should be on the driver side (at least that's where mine was).

Unless your talking about the tube that goes from the heat shield lookin thing on the passenger side manifold to the air box. Most of them end up rotting away and they aren't necessary for the performance of the motor nor will it hurt anything by not having it there
