I have a 91 2.3L 4 banger, and i already have a fresh air intake on it. I am going to put a header, and high flow cat, and i was wondering if i can expect a good amount of power gain, or not that much?

Your wasting you money. Sorry but its true. A stock 302 out of junk yard would be just about as cheap to buy. When your done putting it in you wont be able to chisle the smile of your face.

Until you realize that you can't pass a gas station without emptying your wallet into the tank.

The cast exhaust manifold on you truck isn't that bad of a design but there are some aftermarket 4 into 1 long tube headers available. Or you can find a factory shorty 4 into 1 tube header that was installed on newer trucks. The cat usually isn't that much of a restriction. A better exhaust system, 2-1/4 to 2-1/2", would be a good investment as long as your at it.

ok, the header is coming from a racing buddy who owes me a favor. It is a 4 into 1 long tube. I was going to do the cat anyway while i was under there, I was either going to run 2.5" or 3" all the way out. Is 3" to big?

Ok, Thats what i thought, thanks for all your help.
