hello:
i was wondering if i could get your help on this subject. I am going to buy the pacesetter header but should i get them with EGR fittings or with out?
the other question is... is the ceramic coating worth the money?
thanks for your help guys!

Do you have an EGR system? If so, then you might wanna get the part that is made to fit your vehicle.

Ceramic coating helps keep some of the heat down while preventing rust. They usually do end up rusting eventually as the coating gets scratched and worn off, but definitely helps them last longer and look much better. So...is it worth it? Its personal opinion as they cost more than black coated headers. It all depends on how much you want to spend for your ride. With that said, I have ceramic coated BBK headers on my truck that I happen to like. They were worth the money to me.

ok ok...lol but how do i know if my truck has that system? I have a 2007 ford ranger 4.0??

It has it. All gas vehicles made in the last 15-20 years have EGR
Correct statement but two different systems used. The early internal one and then the later ones that have the external, requiring the bung on the exhaust manifold or header. Don't know when the 4.0L's changed but the 5.0's around '97'
