Headache!!!

Ok so this is what ive done so far

- new battery cables
- new starter relay( 34$ for a Niehoff one from Lordco Auto Parts)
- new igniton switch
- newer starter from the junkyard

When I try to start my truck the starter will not disengage, it has done this with my old starter and the one I got from the junkyard. Do you think I should buy a new starter? Will it solve the problem Because I have no idea what to do next, Ive pretty much replaced the whole starting system.

take it in and have it tested at autozone or somewhere.. could just be the solenoid not engaging..

Do what he said. Take the starter to a auto parts store and have it tested. They usually do that for free. This way if it passes you can eliminate the starter as a problem.

I have usually found though that junkyard electronics such as a starter are bad.
