I'm working on a 85 2.3 fuel injected. I have the head separated from the block, or at least it looks like it is. Pulled the timing, head bolts, and intake pulled out along with the alternator mounts. I've tried putting the head, but it still isn't seperating from the block. Any ideas?

Exhaust manifold? Wires, hoses, etc... All headboard?

Got got 10 head bolts sitting on the table?

Then use a rubber mallet for a few good taps and get one edge to lift up

Yeah it just took some persuading. Block is toasted along with the head. Time to get a 2.3t from my buddy.
