Welcome to TRS :)

Most common place for a leak in that area is from where the intake manifold bolts to the head.
My 4.0l had that leak.

Head gasket leak for coolant to the edge of the head is uncommon, and unless you are leaving out a major overheating event I doubt there is a crack

I would check the thermostat housing first i have the same problem at the moment

I have the p/s and ac out of the way ,i see it plainly coming from under the head thanks for the message

It's an odd one.

Cooling system only has 18psi of pressure and only when hot, after head and block metal has expanded to full sealing for 600-1,000psi containment(cylinder pressure), which is why head gasket edge leak is uncommon.

I guess a warp or crack then, I would pressurize the cooling system to confirm location.

I had a pin hole leak in a hose that was spraying a fine stream at edge of rad, couldn't find the crack in rad but saw the obvious signs of a leak, so replaced rad............
still had the leak, lol, found the pin hole :)

a rotten hose will appear to leak from under the pass side head on the front of the block, just fyi.
