89 ranger 2.3 running poorly under acceleration.did compression test and had 0 compression on #2 and #3 cylinders. pulled head and engine appears to have been rebuilt not long before i bought it. no ridge on the cylinders at all.extemely clean head. couldnt see a bad place in the head gasket but it didnt come off easy so it may have had a bad place.cant find any cracks in head.head bolts didnt feel to be torqued at 90 lbs. should i take the head in and make sure it isnt warped? is it common to warp a cast iron head?also does anyone know the size of the exhaust manifold to head bolts?

the exhaust bolts are m10 x1.50 if anyone needs to know.took head in and it wasnt warped.had a valve job and now the truck runs good. the only problem is the check engine light is on and the tach doesnt work anymore.anyone else ever have this happen?:icon_confused:

intake coil pack wasnt plugged up good.no more check engine light and the tach works now:icon_hornsup:

welp, guess you got it figured out lol. my guess on the bolt size would have been wrong anyhow. i was thinking m8 1.25
