head/fuel problem

Afternoon everyone. Got an issue and don't know how to solve it. My number six spark plug fouls out and when I pull it, it smells like fuel. I pulled the heads off and had them checked. One valve seat looked a little off. The shop is saying to check the fuel injector and throttle body and re-do the heads. Any help is very much appreciated.

Well the throttle body wouldn't affect just one cylinder.

I'd throw a new injector on #6 and call it good.

I'd have tried that long before pulling the heads off.

Do a compression/leak down test before tearing the heads off

thanks guys for the info. The shop found a bad valve seat so just had them done. Gave me a good deal, now gotta replace the primary intake manifold because it cracked while putting everything back together.
