Hey guys, I am in the process of resealing my engine and redoing the heads on my 97 ranger 4.0 litre. I purchases a top end victor reinz kit and the intake manifold gasket is 2 pieces and nothing that covers the block in between the heads like the stock one, is this normal and just sealed up with sealant like I've been told by the auto parts store? Second question, I have heard the proper way to torque the heads is to sequence in the intake unlike what my chilton manual says. It says to torque the heads and intake separate. What's the correct way to do it. Just a tip for anybody that has the engine out of their truck and stripped it. The litters go in BEFORE you put on the heads, woulda saved me a wack of bolts and 2 head gaskets!
