Hey guys, I hate to start a new thread but I've read and read and I can't figure out which part of my 4wd system is malfunctioning. I have a 95 Ranger w/1354e. It seems like my 4wd only works when it feels like it. It may work one day when I get in it then the next day nothing. As of the last couple days it has appeared to finally have maybe bitten the big one. Some times when I drive it I get the flashing 4wd and 4lo lights and then the next time I drive it they might not ever flash. When ever it doesn't work I never hear any of the 2 click sounds coming from the dash which makes me want to think that the control module is my problem. But this morning when I tried it went into 4wd but made the two click sounds very sluggishly then it wouldn't click to disengage which made me think maybe the the shift motor is dragging or something. It's got me puzzled and I've read so many different things I don't know what to think. Should I hear clicking sounds if the shift motor is shot? Or does the lack of the clicking soudns mean my module is shot? I don't really have the extra cha ching laying around to go throwing parts at it hoping it fixes it. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!:annoyed: Thanks, Beau
