Have you ever felt like your Ranger was a part of your body?

This thread makes me feel like I am a cheater... I own a 2003 ranger tremor, a 2003 explorer, 1992 f250, 1998 taurus, and a 2006 charger (I know a Dodge......)

I love them all but I guess I miss the feeling of really connecting perfectly with one car

Not there yet. I know when to shift into 2nd with a little double-clutch to save the syncros though. Not as seamless as some cars I've had, but I love being able to haul stuff in the bed.

Only one place I have ever experienced this, and thats on a FSR called Menzies Main on vancouver island. It is a well maintained road, and rarely see's snow. Hitting this road at between 80 and 110 (KM's) in places, it was like nothing else, you know where each tire is, which tire has grip, which is loosing it, which has lost it. When you don't need a tach to know what your engines spinning, putting the back end out the side just a little, knowing you can pull it back in with ease. Some of the best times of my adolesents. Lovin it.

Yup when you wrap one around a telephone pole and your truck is fitting you like a glove, then some moron comes along with the jaws of life and tears you kicking, screaming and bloody from your c-sectioned trucks womb. Ya know that truck was like a mother to me, I miss her.

When I get on a dirt road the steering wheel is an extension of my arms, I know where every part of the truck is and I know exactly when to make any input to my machine........I love my Ranger

I'll second that motion Benny, I get that same feeling every time i take one of my many favorite back road short cuts.
